Choose one of the following breathing exercises discussed in the Exercise Your Lungs section:

  • Pursed-Lip Breathing
  • Forced Coughing
  • Huff Cough
  • Belly Breathing

Time yourself to complete 5 sustained minutes of the breathing exercise.

Advanced Challenge:  Get a pulse oximeter.  Use it to measure your oxygen saturation before and after the breathing exercise.
